This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second Respondent not to harass the Petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry, based on the representation dated 15.11.2022. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents 1 and 2 would submit that it is a case and counter case. The Petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.944 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, East Police Station, Kumbakonam.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the pending enquiry. The Respondents 1 and 2 are directed to follow the guidelines issued in the reported ruling of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh reported in (2014) 2 SSC 1.
