PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.A4-2962-2016, dated 19.12.2016 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.A4-2962-2016, dated 19.12.2016.
2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the wrong subdivision conducted by the concerned authorities. On 14.11.2016, the petitioner gave a petition to the third respondent to correct the mistake in the subdivision. On 19.12.2016, the third respondent issued notice to the petitioner calling him for enquiry. The petitioner appeared and submitted all the original land records. After verifying all the original records, the third respondent informed the petitioner that he would call for re-enquiry but no notice/summon was issued for the same so far. The petitioner states that the enquiry was kept pending for more than 8 years. The petitioner submitted a representation on 29.12.2023 to the respondents 1, 2 and 2/5
4 with the request to conduct a fair survey of his land and to subdivide the land equally to him and the sixth respondent. As no action was taken by the concerned respondents, the petitioner filed the writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the enquiry is still pending and time frame may be fixed by this Court for passing final orders in the proceeding.
4. In the light of the above facts, a direction is issued to the third respondent to conclude the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.A4-2962-2016, dated 19.12.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
