ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 460 of IPC, in Crime No.72 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner while working as the principal at Sri Indra Ganesan College, Naturopathy and Medical College, Trichy, is said to have misappropriated the scholarship fund to the tune of Rs.86,78,376/-. 3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.Considering the nature of allegations in this case that the petitioner while working as a principal, had obtained money from the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes students from their scholarship fund for payment of the fees, but however, misappropriated the money without paying the fees, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
