2.The learned Additional Advocate General submits that the encroachers in this case happen to be persons below the poverty line. The District Administration is taking steps to identify alternative sites so as to rehabilitate them. He states that this process may take few more months. However, on instructions, he states that the direction given by this Court for removal of the encroachment will be fully complied within six months.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General, this Contempt Petition is closed. This Writ Petition is allowed accordingly. Leave is given to the petitioner to revive the contempt petition by filing a Miscellaneous Petition if the undertaking is not complied with. No costs.
