The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a son of a deceased employee of the third respondent Co-operative Society, seeking a Mandamus as against the first respondent to consider his request for compassionate appointment.
2. The petitioner's father who was working as a Secretary in the third respondent Society passed away on 28.03.2022. The petitioner has given a representation on 01.02.2023, seeking compassionate appointment. The third respondent Society has passed a Resolution on 14.07.2023 for granting compassionate appointment to the writ petitioner and forwarded the proposal to the first respondent on 01.09.2023.

3. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the first respondent is yet to pass orders on the proposal forwarded by the third respondent Society. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the proposal forwarded by the third respondent Society on 01.09.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
