PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Crime No.82 of 2020 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police Station and quash the same as it has no prima facie case as against the petitioner.

O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.82 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that the respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.82 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 269 of IPC read with Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act and 54 of the Disaster Management Act against the petitioner. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in pursuance of the G.O., passed by the Government, the cases that have been registered for violation of the conditions imposed during the Covid-19 Pandemic, have been dropped.
