ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu on the ground that her husband Vijayaraj is missing from 22.10.2015 and has sought for a direction to the 2nd respondent to produce the body of her husband.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a man missing FIR has been registered in Crime No.134/2018 and all efforts are taken to find out the whereabouts of the detenue.

3.In the considered view of this Court, it will suffice if a direction is issued to the second respondent to proceed further with the investigation in accordance with law and comply with the guidelines given in Selvaraj v. 2/4

State rep. by the Superintendent of Police and others reported in (2018) 3 MLJ (Crl) 712 to secure the detenu at the earliest possible time.
