Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to assess the superstructures constructed in the properties comprised in S.No. 31/1 to an extent of 1 acre 36 cents situated at Solaikurichi Village and the properties comprised in R.S.No.448/5, 448/4, 450/1, 451 to an extent of 64 cents, 60 cents, 64 cents, 23 cents respectively situated at Sholavandhan Village, Madurai District in the names of Sri Moolanathar Akilandeswari Ammaiyal Temple, along with the name of the trust "Margali Matham Krishna Patchathu Ashtami Thiruvizha Trust" on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2024.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondent to assess the superstructures constructed in the properties comprised in S.No.31/1 to an extent of 1 acre 36 cents situated at Solaikurichi Village and the properties comprised in R.S.No.448/5, 448/4, 450/1, 451 to an extent of 64 cents, 60 cents, 64 cents, 23 cents respectively situated at Sholavandhan Village, Madurai District in the names of Sri Moolanathar Akilandeswari Ammaiyal Temple, along with the name of the trust "Margali Matham Krishna Patchathu Ashtami Thiruvizha Trust" on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2024.
2. At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent that the petitioner's representation would be considered and orders would be passed in accordance with law within a period of four weeks, which was accepted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the same and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.02.2024, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties/stake 2/4
holders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
