ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate Police protection to the petitioner and her granddaughter namely Kaviya, Daughter of Kalyanasundaram for their life and limb within a time frame. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that the petitioner is the mother of the fifth respondent and the fourth respondent is the second husband of the fifth respondent, that the fifth respondent had a daughter by name Kaviya, that the petitioner has given a complaint alleging that her granddaughter Kaviya was kidnapped, that the fourth respondent has also given complaint and that after enquiry in CSR.No.491 of 2024, the victim girl was secured and 2/4

produced before the Child Welfare Committee. He would further submit that before the Child Welfare Committee, the fifth respondent had appeared and given statement and that the Child Welfare Committee, taking note of the wishes of the victim girl, sent her to the Home, vide order dated 18.10.2024. He has also produced copy of the order and the statement of the fifth respondent.

3.Recording the above submission, this criminal original petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
