2. The appellant management was the writ petitioner. They challenged the award passed by the Labour Court in favour of the workman in I.D.No.213 of 2006 dated 30.04.2009 on the file of the Labour Court, Trichy (Dindigul Camp). The employee was involved in a fatal accident. He was issued with punishment of withholding the increment for a period of three years. The labour Court held that the Standing Orders do not provide for any such punishment. This order was put to challenge in the writ proceedings. The learned single Judge had recorded that the learned counsel for the management was unable to point out any error in such finding of the Labour Court based on the Standing Orders. No case for interference has been made out with the said order. This writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
