ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) The mother of the detenu has filed this petition on the ground that her daughter Hariganga went missing from 10.10.2022 onwards and she sought for a direction to the respondent police to produce the body of her daughter. 2.Heard Mr.S.Ramsundarvijayraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Thiruvadikumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the detenu was produced before us. She stated that she was married and she is also having a child. There was some misunderstanding between the detenu and her mother and hence, the detenu left her mother and went to Coimbatore. The detenu further stated that an advertisement was given by the Standard Service at Coimbatore, which deals with providing help to sick patients and old persons. According to the detenu, she is now taking care of a sick patient and she has been paid adequate salary for the same. The detenu
made it very clear that she does not want to go along with the petitioner. The detenu being a major, we cannot force her to go along with the petitioner. 4.Recording the above statement, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
