This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.05.2022, whereby the petitioner is seeking for the release of the detenu, who is the son of the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.Considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.05.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take a final decision.
