ORDER

This Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give the permission and adequate police protection for the peaceful performance of the Kumbabisegam festival scheduled to be held on 02.12.2019 in Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Maravapatti, Kalingapatti Village, Palakurichi via, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner representations, dated 16.11.2019 and 21.11.2019.

In this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after completion of temple construction work, the petitioner and the villagers are planning to conduct Kumbabisegam festival of Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Maravapatti, Kalingapatti Village, Palakurichi via, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District and they are expecting more than five https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD).No. 25342 of 2019 thousand people to be participated in the Kumbabisegam festival. Therefore, necessarily to be directed by the concerned police officials. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representations, on 16.11.2019 and 21.11.2019 seeking permission and police protection and the same is pending on the file of the second respondent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 16.11.2019 and 21.11.2019 and pass order and to provide adequate police protection to the Kumbabisegam of Arulmigu Balamurugan Temple situated at Maravapatti, Kalingapatti Village, Palakurichi via, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, scheduled to be held on 02.12.2019, forthwith.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
