This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original registered sale deed documents Numbers (1) 502/2000, dated 20.09.2000, (2) 503/2000, dated 21.09.2000, (3) 504/2000, dated 21.09.2000, (4) 582/2000, dated 08.11.2000, (5) 593/2000, dated 16.11.2000 and (6) 17/2002, dated 31.01.2002 all registered in the office of Sub Registrar, Kadaladi, Ramanathapuram District in pursuant to the compliant given to the respondent through online dated 05.05.2023 and paper publication dated 11.07.2023 published in the Tamil daily news paper Dinaboomi Madurai edition and written complaint dated 23.07.2023 given in person. 2/5
2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent for misplacing of his original sale deeds Documents (1) 502/2000, dated 20.09.2000, (2) 503/2000, dated 21.09.2000, (3) 504/2000, dated 21.09.2000, (4) 582/2000, dated 08.11.2000, (5) 593/2000, dated 16.11.2000 and (6) 17/2002, dated 31.01.2002. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made paper publication on 11.07.2023 with regard to the missing of original documents.

Considering the above, the second respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry ensuring the said documents have not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, the petitioner can workout her remedy through appropriate proceedings, if 3/5
not satisfied.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
