ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the official respondents herein to grant permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting Puratasi Pongal Festival on 10.10.2023 at Arulmigu Manthaiamman Temple situated at Gandhi Nagar, Chellampatti Post, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai on the basis of the representation dated 28.09.2023 and 01.10.2023.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the festival is over and the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy, if he is having any other grievances. No costs.
