ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry based on the false complaint of the third respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the third respondent has given a complaint against her husband/first petitioner and in-laws/petitioners 2 and 3 and the same came to be registered in CSR No.415 of 2024 and they have referred the matter to the Social Welfare Officer and is pending before the Thiruverambur District Social Welfare Officer.

3. Considering the above, the Social Welfare Officer, Thiruverambur is directed to issue notice to the petitioners as well as to 2/4

the third respondent and conduct enquiry and submit a report before the concerned police at an earlier date.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
