Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is employed as Assistant in Transport Department. She is facing disciplinary proceedings. The specific case of the petitioner is that the enquiry is already over but final order is yet to be passed. The matter dates back to the year 2008. The first respondent is directed to pass final order in the petition mentioned disciplinary proceedings on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
