Contemnors/Respondents 2 & 3/ Respondents 2 & 3 PRAYER: Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the contemnors/respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in WMP (MD) No.15876 of 2019 in W.P.(MD) No.19426 of 2019 dated 09.09.2019. Prayer in WP(MD)No.19426 of 2019 Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Contstitution of India, praying this Court Directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to grant an alternate employment to the petitioner as per section 20 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 based on the medical report of the 4th respondent to be submitted based on the assessment conducted on the petitioner on 2.5.2019 and consequently direct the respondent to grant backwages, continuity of service, service weightage review for the period of absences falling from 10.7.2019 till the grant of alternative employment is made by the respondents.

Prayer in WMP(MD)No.15876 of 2019 To pass an order of ad interim injunction restraining the respondents No.2 and 3 from transferring the petitioner from the Wheel Maintenance Section in the alternative employment to regular employment, pending disposal of the above WP and thus render justice.

It is represented by the learned Standing counsel for the respondents that the petitioner has been given employment as helper in Wheel Maintenance Section, Musiri Branch, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Kumbakonam) Ltd., Karur, in obedience to the interim order passed by this Court. As such, there is no willful disobedience on the part of the respondents herein. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
