ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the enquiry that was pending based on the complaint given by the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State brought to the notice of this Court the report dated 06.08.2023. On going through the report, it is seen that the petitioner has been advised to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer and work out her remedy under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and seek for cancellation of the documents.

3. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner died during the pendency of this Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs.
