ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents Nos.1 to 4 to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents Nos. 5 to 8 and their associates on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2024.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that one one S.Murugan has filed a petition in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.15060 of 2024 seeking Police protection and considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) that the complaint of the petitioner therein in CSR.No.212 of 2024 was closed, the said petition was disposed of and that the petitioner herein has filed 2/4
the present petition seeking very same relief. He would further submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was initiated in CSR.No.245 of 2024 and the same was ordered closed. 3.Recording the above submissions, this criminal original petition is disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
