ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the husband of the detenue seeking a direction to the respondent police to secure and produce the body of his wife, viz., Kalaiselvi, aged about 29 years, who is said to be in the illegal detention of the third respondent.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that even on an earlier occasion, the detenue went missing with the third respondent and an FIR was registered by the 2nd respondent in Crime No. 110/2022. In the course of investigation, the whereabouts of the detenue was traced and she went along with the petitioner. Once again the detenue has eloped with the third respondent and already a complaint has been received from the petitioner in this regard. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as and when the whereabouts of the detenue is traced, she will be taken to the concerned Magistrate Court and her statement will be recorded.

3.Except recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no further orders can be passed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus petition is closed.
