Heard Mr.D.Selvanayagam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
2.This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the first respondent in his proceeding in Omu.No.Aa3/60571/2019 dated 21.10.2019. 3.In the affidavit, it has been averred that the petitioner is the wife of one Veera Ponnangan and their marriage was solemnized on 27.01.1999 and after their wedlock, a male child viz., Vishnu, was born on 27.07.2000. W.P(MD)No.25320 of 2019 husband married one Malarjothi, who died on 19.09.1995 and after their wedlock, four children were born. While so, the husband of the petitioner died on 07.08.2017 and hence, the petitioner had applied for Legal Heir Certificate and the same was rejected by the Tahsildar stating that the deceased had two wives. Challenging the same, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, upon instructions, submitted that Legal Heir Certificate has been issued, including the children born through the first wife. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
