Respondents (R6 is impleaded as per order of this Court dated 15.06.2023 in W.M.P.(MD) No.1638 of 2023) PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to take necessary action to appoint a Special Officer under Section 34A of the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, to conduct the election of New Management Committee for Thenmandala Telungu Chettiargal Sangam, Thirupparankundram, within a time frame as may be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court, or as an alternate relief this Court may be pleased to appoint a Retired High Court Judge to conduct the election of New Management Committee of this Sangam as was ordered in a similar case in W.P(MD)No.6359 of 2022 dated 07.04.2022. The petitioners have now, very wisely in my opinion, appointed a counsel. I must place gratitude to the petitionera for having done so. It is also a recognition of the members of the bar of this Court.
2. The petition in W.M.P(MD)No.1638 of 2023 has been filed seeking to implead the proposed petitioner as sixth respondent, S.Mohan son of Subbiah.
3. The petitioner herein is a necessary party in W.P.(MD) No.27956 of 2022 as sixth respondent and he has also signed in the terms of Joint Compromise Memo. In view of that particular fact, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition in W.M.P(MD)No.1638 of 2023 is allowed.
4. Registry, to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title before issuing the order copy.
5. A joint compromise memo had been presented signed by 3/7
very specifically by the petitioners and also by the respondents and also by the petitioner who had filed an impleading petition. The learned counsels have also signed it. Let me record it in its entirety. 4/7
6. No further orders are required.
7. It is hoped very fervently that the members of the Sangam would be united for ever and ever.
8. The Writ Petition stands disposed of since compromise memo is recorded. No costs.
