ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Traffic Inspector for a Mandamus for payment of interest due to the delayed payment of terminal benefits.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, he attained superannuation on 28.02.2019 and the retirement benefits were settled only on 23.09.2019 and there was a delay of 7 months. The petitioner has made a representation on 20.06.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursal of the terminal benefits.
3. The 1st respondent is directed to consider the said representation, dated 20.06.2023 and pass orders within a period of six
(6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4
4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of on the above said terms. No costs.
