ORDER

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2.Vide order dated 13.08.2024 in W.P.(MD)No.14941 of 2024, a direction was given to ensure that the national flag remains hoisted at zero point throughout the year (24 x 7). The petitioner's grievance is that this order is not being complied with.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents expresses certain difficulties. According to him, on account of climatic condition, the flag gets torn and therefore, it is not possible to hoist the flag at all times.

4.The petitioner states that if he is entrusted with the responsibility, he would ensure that the direction of this Court is complied with. 5.We, therefore, permit the petitioner to take over the responsibility of ensuring the compliance of the direction given by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.14941 of 2024.

6.This contempt petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected sub application is closed.
