ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Driver of the respondent Corporation seeking interest for the belated disbursal of his terminal benefits.

2. A perusal of the affidavit indicates that the petitioner had attained superannuation on 31.08.2018 and he was granted with retirement benefits towards earned leave salary only on 09.01.2023. Hence, he has sent a representation on 01.09.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursal of the eligible leave salary.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 01.09.2023 and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition stands disposed of on the above said terms. No costs.
