ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.) The petitioner in this writ petition seeks to quash a delimitation exercise. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the distance between the village and the place where the votes are being polled is more than 3 Kilometers. This cannot be a reason to interfere with the delimitation exercise or with regard to arrangement of wards of the panchayat. Similar prayer was considered by us and rejected. We made an observation that sufficient public transport may be arranged in the area on the date of election. Similar observation is made in this writ petition also. 2.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
