2. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent Bank to give six months time to settle the housing loan.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submits that for the past two years, the same stand is taken by the petitioner and he has not come forward to close the loan.
4. If the petitioner is willing to settle the entire loan, he should make a genuine request and not sending letters to the respondent Bank without adhering to what he has stated. If the petitioner makes a genuine request to the 2nd respondent Bank and complies with the condition imposed by the Bank, the request for One Time Settlement may be considered in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
