ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and their community people at the time of burying the dead body in their community land on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2019.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.17695 of 2019 second respondent registered a case and referred the matter before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thakkalay to initiate the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. Thereafter, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thakkalay issued notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 3 to 6 for enquiry and the same is pending.

3. In such circumstances, the police protection sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Thakkalay is directed to complete the enquiry and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After giving opportunity of hearing all the parties concerned.
