This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second and third respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner company's personnel and contractors for the installation of a cell phone tower on the property located at T.S.No.238, Part 235, 239, Saaliyar Street, Block No. 0004, Tirunelveli Part-2, Kandiyapperi Part-2, Ward No.AD, Thatchanallur, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.08.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the first respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the second and third Page No. 2 of 5

respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2025, in which the petitioner sought police protection, would be considered on merits and appropriate action would be taken within a period of four weeks.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would bear the cost incurred for the police protection.

4. Considering the above submissions, and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation/request on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
