P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to sanction regular pension and disburse terminal benefits, with accrued interest to the petitioner and further direct the 2nd respondent to initiate disciplinary action against the 5th respondent for not discharging her official duty. ORDER

There is no representation on the side of the petitioner. On the last hearing date, ie., on 28.08.2024, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, had submitted on instructions that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the terminal benefits of the petitioner have been disbursed to her and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. He has also referred to paragraph No.11 of the counter affidavit filed by the fourth respondent before this Court in support of his contention. 2/4

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on the last hearing date, sought time to get instructions with regard to the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

3. Since there is no representation on the side of the petitioner today, it can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
