ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to reconstruct Kuthupirai Esakkiyamman Temple at Kothaiseri village under Nanguneri Taluk in Tirunelveli District.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that there existed a dispute between the 'A' party and 'B' party with regard to the administration of the temple and FIR came to be registered in Crime No.464 of 2024 as against all the parties and investigation is pending. He would further submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.381 of 2024 and the same is pending.

3.Considering the nature of the allegations levelled in the complaint, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.381 of 2024 and complete the same, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
