ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed, invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking orders, to direct the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Devar Jeyanthi festival on 30.10.2024 with light and sound at the Tamilannai Payaniyar Diesel Auto Ottunargal Nala Sangam Auto Stand, Gorippalayam, Madurai District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that similar requisition petitions were already forwarded to the Tahsildar, Madurai North and he has already fixed a meeting on 25.10.2024. 2/4

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Tahsildar, Madurai North, is directed to issue notice to the petitioner also and conduct enquiry and take a decision by tomorrow (ie., 25.10.2024) itself.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 24.10.2024 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No das Note : Issue order copy on 24.10.2024.
