ORDER

This petition is filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.200 of 2018 dated 16.10.2018 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as illegal in so far as the petitioner is concerned.

2. On 10.10.2023, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.200 of 2018 is completed and the final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani on 20.01.2022 through E-filing.

3. A report is received from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani. Perusal of report shows that the respondent police filed the final report on 06.01.2022 in Crime No.200 of 2018 against the 6 accused persons. Since the final report was filed only on 06.01.2022, the respondent police filed a petition to condone the delay in filing the final report in Crl.M.P.No.10 of 2022 and in order to hear objection, if any, from the accused persons, notices were sent to the accused persons. After receiving the notice, except one Nalalingam, other 2/4

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the trial Court itself and make his objections, if any, with regard to the delay occurred. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 08.11.2023 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No tta To:
