PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the 3rd and 4th respondents to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner complaint dated 30.09.2022.

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct the Respondents 3 and 4 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the Petitioner and his family members by considering the Petitioner's complaint dated 30.09.2022.

2.As per the contents of the petition, it is found that it is a civil dispute, for which the Petitioner has to approach the Civil Court only for the appropriate relief.

3.Based on the order or the decree to be obtained by the Petitioner from the Civil Court, he can seek police protection for the same. As per the 2/4

reported ruling of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of State of Haryana vs.Ch.Bhajan Lal reported in (AIR) 1992 SC 604), the Police Officials are restrained from converting the civil dispute into criminal case. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
