This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the mother of the detenue complaining that her minor daughter aged about 16 years had been missing on and from 23.08.2025.
2. The daughter of the petitioner has been attending NEET coaching class at Rajapalayam. A complaint has been lodged before the third respondent / Inspector of Police, Seithur Police Station at Virudhunagar District and FIR in Cr.No.196 of 2025 has been registered as 'girl missing'.
3. Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor stated that the young child had been traced and she was brought to the Court. We enquired with a young child and she informed that she is willing to go with her parents. The education of the child is paramount important and hence, she should pursue undergoing coaching class for preparing 2/5
for NEET examination. The third respondent may proceed further in the investigation in Cr.No.196 of 2025 and also invoke any other offence as applicable and which came to light during the course of investigation.
4. We also enquired the parents of the girl and they are prepared to take the child with them.
5. In view of the fact that the detenue had been located and is now willing to go with her parents, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
