O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned order dated 19.09.2023 passed by the respondent and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently directing the respondent to issue Non-traceable certificate of sale deed No. 1/992/1976 dated 05.05.1976 by considering the petitioners online compliant in CTP23140336 dated 02.08.2023 and on the petitioner representation dated 02.08.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 02.08.2023 before the respondent for missing of his original sale deed No. 1/992/1976 dated 05.05.1976, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent representation to the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2023, is pending.

5. Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to reopen the enquiry, again conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner may workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
