PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the first respondent to withdraw the Crime No.25 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent and entrust the same to the third respondent and direct the third respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report before the concerned learned Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent to conclude the investigation as early as possible.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the investigation in this case will be completed within a period of six weeks.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the second respondent Police to 2/4

complete the investigation in Crime No.25 of 2022 under the supervision of the first respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
