The petitioner herein questions the order dated 08.08.2022 passed by the Tahsildar, Devakottai Taluk. The Tahsildar characterised the writ petitioner as an encroacher. If the petitioner feels aggrieved, he has to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer. If such an appeal is filed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, it shall be entertained without reference to limitation. The Revenue Divisional Officer shall decide the issue on its own merits. Before passing order, Sornalingam will be put on notice. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
