ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the third respondent to provide police protection to her life and liberty.
2. According to the petitioner, the respondents 4 to 6, who are relatives of the petitioner's husband, had trespassed and damaged the property of her husband and had further threatened her of dire consequences if the petitioner claims any right over the property in dispute.
3. The respondent Police cannot interfere in any civil dispute between the petitioner's husband and the respondents 4 to 6. It is for the petitioner to approach the Civil Court to establish her right over the disputed property. However, it is needless to say that if the petitioner has made any complaint disclosing a cognizable offence, the respondent Police shall take such action as required under law.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
