ORDER

The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to refund his deposit amounts with interest, within a time frame.

2. Heard Mr.T.Vadivelan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is having Savings Bank Account No.894 in the third respondent Society and he had been saving his hard earned money in the said Society for more than decades for the future of his sons. The petitioner has also deposited money in the third respondent Society, as detailed below:- Date of Deposit Receipt No.

Hence, the petitioner submitted a 2/5

petition to the respondents 1 and 2 herein on 08.08.2022 to take appropriate action against the third respondent to refund the amount deposited by him. Thereafter, the third respondent Society denied other facilities such as, term loans, agriculture loans and other subsidy loans to the petitioner. However, the petitioner's petition, dated 08.08.2022, has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petition of the petitioner, dated 08.08.2022, would be considered and appropriate order would be passed, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petition of the petitioner, dated 08.08.2022, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
