PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondent to carry out the appropriate survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land in Survey No.547/1A2 (Patta No.3665) situated at Kodangipatti Village, Bodinayakkanur Village, Theni District based on the petitioner's Survey Application No.2025/0123/25/004168 dated 28.03.2025 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks survey of the land described in the writ petition. 2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner relies on registered sale deed dated 23.01.2003 and patta No.3665 as evidence of the petitioner's entitlement for such survey.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for both the respondents. He submits that the survey would be carried out within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The petitioner has placed on record sale deed 23.01.2003 in favour of the petitioner in relation to the relevant land. The patta has also been issued to the petitioner in respect of 0.82.00 acres in S.No.547/1A2. 5.Therefore, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the respondents to take further action on the application filed by the petitioner for conducting the survey. Before conducting such survey, neighbouring land owners be put on notice. The entire exercise shall be completed within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
