ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "to call for the records pertaining to the original impugned rejection order dated 01.10.2024 passed by the 3rd respondent through online rejection in Application No. 200070150924431 for New Electricity Service Connection in Door No.1/117, south Street, Vannikonenthal Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District Comprised in Survey No.961/26B and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents 2nd and 3rd to give Electricity Service Connection forthwith petitioner's Application No.200070150924431 dated 02.09.2024 without insisting no objection from 4th respondent."

2. The petitioner's house is situated in Door No.1/117, South Street, Vannikonenthal Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District Comprised in Survey No.961/26B. She had applied online for electricity connection before the 2nd and 3rd respondents. The petitioner was informed that there is an objection by the 4th respondent's father stating that there was no public pathway to the petitioner's house. However, the petitioner clarified the same by submitting the compromise agreement which was executed by the said 4th respondent's father dated 07.03.2023. However, the 2nd and 3rd respondents had cancelled her application without issuing any notice to the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner again applied for electricity connection. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner had filed W.P(MD)No.30932 of 2023. By an order dated 22.12.

2023, this Court disposed of the said writ petition directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner was instructed to reproduce the documents in respect of objection made by the 4th respondent's father.

the same with necessary documents and statements, the respondents 2 and 3 without any communication, had rejected her application. The petitioner once again applied for electricity service connection on 02.09.2024. The same was refused by impugned order dated 01.10.2024 referring to the objection letter, dated 30.09.2024. Challenging the same, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsels on either side and the writ petition is being disposed of with the following directions : (a) The electricity service connection shall be given subject to the petitioner obtaining No Objection from the owners of the lands in front of his property, namely Radhakrishnan S/o Maruthupandiyan who owns land in Survey Nos.26B4 and 26B3.

(b) The line shall be drawn at the edge of the above said two survey numbers with the third pole being dug in the land belonging to the petitioner and her husband in Survey No. 26B1C.

(c) On the said Radhakrishnan giving his objection for having the pole fixed at the edge of the lands in Survey Nos. 26B4 and 26B3, the respondents are directed to effect electricity service connection.

(d) The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of No Objection submitted by the petitioner from the said Radhakrishnan.

4. With the above terms, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
