2 W.P.(MD)NO.23905 OF 2025 call for the records pertaining to the impugned rejection order issued by the first respondent and displayed by the second respondent dated 23.01.2025 and quash the same as illegal, and consequently, direct the second respondent to modify the data qua correct date of birth 28.07.1989 based on the Transfer Certificate issued by Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of School Education, TNDTA Middle School, Vilathikulam within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that her date of birth was wrongly entered in her Aadhaar. The learned Deputy Solicitor General has made available the list of acceptable documents 2/5
3 W.P.(MD)NO.23905 OF 2025 for enrollment and update as regards the change of one's date of birth. The following documents can be presented as evidence of proof of date of birth. They are as follows:- "(i) Valid Indian Passport.
(ii) Service Photo Identity Card issued by Central Government / State Government / PSU / regulatory body / statutory body.
(iii) Pensioner Photo Identity Card / Freedom Fighter Photo Identity Card / Pension Payment Order issued by Central Government / State Government / PSU / regulatory body / statutory body.
(iv) Mark-sheet / Certificate issued by recognised Board of Education or university or deemed university or higher educational institution established by a Central or State Act.
(v) Third gender / Transgender Identity Card / Certificate issued under the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019.
(vi) Birth certificate issued by Authorised Authority under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, read with the rules made thereunder."
3. The petitioner is not having birth certificate. She is permitted to submit an application before the fourth respondent. The 3/5
4 W.P.(MD)NO.23905 OF 2025 fourth respondent after perusing the records, will issue certificate of non-registration to the petitioner within a period of three weeks, thereafter. Based on the same, the petitioner is permitted to move the third respondent. The third respondent will hold a summary enquiry and issue birth certificate as sought for within a period of four weeks, thereafter. Based on the same, the petitioner can move the Aadhaar Center at Madurai and it is undertaken that the relevant changes will be immediately carried out. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
