ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.01 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent would submit that the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.01 of 2023 and the investigation is in progress. In this case, so far 65 witnesses have been examined and property also identified by the witnesses. Hence, he seeks four months time to complete the investigation and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the said submissions, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.01 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
