ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2025 and regularize the service of the petitioner from 17.01.2001, the date of appointment in the post of sanitary worker.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

3. The claim of the petitioner is that he had been appointed as sanitary worker under the consolidated pay as early as in the year 2001. However, his service was regularized only from the year 2006. Therefore, he seeks to regularize his service from 17.01.2001 retrospectively.

4. Without entering upon the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner dated 20.06.2025 to the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
