PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the proposal of the petitioner, dated 04.06.2018 and to accord approval to the appointment of Sr.Velankanni, working as B.T. Assistant (Tamil) in the petitioner, St.Louisa Girls Higher Secondary School, Kalugumalai, Thoothukudi District and release salary with all service and monetary benefits. 1/4

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the correspondent of aided minority institution, seeking a mandamus as against the 3rd respondent to approve the appointment of one Sr.Velankanni as B.T. Assistant Tamil teacher with effect from 12.04.2016.

2. One Sri.Velankanni was appointed as a B.T. Assistant (Tamil) teacher in the petitioner's school on 12.04.2016 and for approval of the said appointment a proposal was forwarded by the management on 04.06.2018 to the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent by his proceedings dated 24.10.2018, has forwarded the said proposal to the 3rd respondent. However, the 3rd respondent has so far not passed any orders. Hence, the present writ petition 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the 3rd respondent herein is directed to pass orders on the proposal submitted by the 4th respondent on 24.10.2018 on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if no order has already been passed.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
