ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to settle interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment and 18 Percent interest for the defaulted period of monthly installments to the petitioner, with regard to the payment of service gratuity of Rs.5,89,793/-, PF settlement of Rs.5,69,257/- and leave salary for 205 days (EL 133.5 plus ML 71.5) as ordered by this Hon`ble Court in W.P.(MD).No.21112 of 2016 dated 04.11.2016.
2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment and based on the representation of the petitioner dated 01.09.2025, the respondents are directed to disburse the interest amount 2/4
as per the relevant statutory provisions, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
