PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the difference amount of petitioner's retirement benefits such as Wages, Pension arrears, gratuity, leave salary and pension commutation based on the 14th wage settlement under section 12(3) of the ID Act dated 24.08.2022 along with 6% interest per annum within a stipulated period and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus for conferment of benefits arising out of 14th wage settlement, dated 24.08.2022. 2.Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation on 04.10.2024. Since there is no representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to release the eligible benefits to the writ petitioner along with 6% interest within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
