ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to take appropriate action against the third respondent on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner on 11.07.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submitted that based on a complaint given, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.296 of 2014. The investigation was conducted and a police report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi, for the offences under Sections 406, 408, 420 and 120B of IPC and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1819 of 2023 and the case is now pending before the Court below. He further submitted that the victim is also shown to be one of the victim and his statement was also recorded under Section 161(3) of Cr.P.C.

3. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
